After a two day long journey from the snowy mountains I finally return home.
Tired and very hungry I quickly slip through the village to return back to my old home and without thinking I jump onto my bed to rest my eyes....
....I wake up several hours later feeling awake and full of energy. I totally forgot to eat!
I get up to grab my gear and head down to the local Gathering Hall.
I walk inside to be greeted by the lady behind the counter. I greet her and then sit down to eat....
....being completely stuffed I'm unable to move, but I do find the strength to get up and I sluggishly walk over to look at the Quest Board....
....I found a quest that would be perfect: "collect 10 cactus flowers"! Wandering around a desert would be great fun and who knows what you might find or meet!
I look at the rest of the quest contract and see a warning on the bottom, "A Diablos has been reported in the area...."
What! Oh just great! Ah, but what would be the chance of meeting the Diablos in such a large area! I ignore the warning ripping off the contract in the process and then hand it over to the front desk.
They sign me off and I'm ready but not forgetting to buy some supply items before I go....
....I've been walking for about a week now slowly closing in on the desert and seeing many wonderful sites along the way. With the sun getting stronger and the temperature raising I must be getting close....
Off in the distance I can see sand dunes and large cliffs. I've reached the edged of the desert....
....I look up at a large near by cliff and I spot a camp site I can use; now the only problem is how to get up there? I look around side to side and spot a small walkway going upwards this must be the path to the camp....
....I finally reach the top of this large cliff its a fantastic view to behold, thousands of sand dunes that stretch out as far as the eye can see! I look to my left to see the camp one large tent with bedding and working stove, a small non-lit camp fire, a large item and delivery box and out in the back is a small well carved into the side of a small rocky wall. I have every thing I need right here!
I open the item box and have a peak in side I see one first-aid box, 3 cool drinks and a large map of the surrounding area. I take out all the items and place them into a backpack, right all need now are ten cactus flowers!
but I might wait till tomorrow the sun is slowly setting behind the horizon, as the sun goes down so dose the temperature I'll freeze if I go out now. So for now I'll   stay hear, I striking a match as I kneel down to the small fire place setting it ablaze.
I still can't get the thought of the Diablos out of my head, I better be prepared for tomorrow just encase....
